KALAMAZOO, MI -- It was officially spring on Monday, March 20, and to help kick off the season, beer-enthusiasts flocked to Bell's Brewery for the seasonal tapping of Oberon. An unofficial holiday in Kalamazoo, Oberon Day draws people from all over the state to ring in a change of season. Hundreds waited in line as doors to Bell's Eccentric Cafe opened to the public at 10 a.m., and a steady flow of people came and went all day long. As the doors opened Great Lakes Brass entertained the crowd with their own rendition of 'You are my sunshine' as the Oberon flag was raised into the blue, cloudless sky.
